RiceStressDB is a specialized database dedicated to the exploration of stress-responsive genes in rice. Developed with precision and research-backed data, the database serves as a valuable resource for researchers, students, and breeders focusing on improving rice resilience to both abiotic and biotic stresses.
This project was initiated and developed by six students from the IV year B.Tech Biotechnology program at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, Centre for Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore.
The development of RiceStressDB was part of their final year undergraduate project work. The database integrates curated gene information from multiple omics layers, encompassing stress categories, expression status, functional annotations, and genomic data, offering a comprehensive and user-friendly research platform.
